Oka laila kosam out line story :
Karthik (Naga Chaitanya) after finishing his graduation decides to take a 1 year break, being a gold medalist, he feels that he has not enjoyed his life and asks his parents for some break before joining any job, meanwhile he sees Nandu (Pooja Hegde) and likes her in the first look itself, to impress her Karthik joins her college, Nandu hates Karthik.
Twist in the tale arises when Karthik’s parents get him engaged to Nandu. What will Nandu do now ? Will she reveal her hatred towards Karthik to her parents ? and how does Karthik change Nandu’s mind and win his love ? That forms the rest of the story.
Oka laila kosam actors performances;
Romcom is a strong fort for Naga Chaitanya, earlier, he impressed with Yem Maya Chesave and HPL, here he does well in a few scenes, but needs to improve in emotional scenes, he tried to dance to a few songs but the attempt looks wasted, he needs to work on his histrionics. He looked to be in Manam hangover and became repetitive.
Pooja’s f irst screen presence in Telugu film’s is impressive, her performance was also nice, she needs to plan her career wisely, she has chances to become a top star.
Ali’s role was a major asset for this film, he filled the required entertainment portion in the film.
Others were just okay.
Oka laila kosam team technical performance of movie;
Vijay succeeded well in his first attempt Gunde Jari Gallanthu Ayinde, this time also he checked his luck with romcom, he got nice banner and good star cast, the story was nice and interesting, but treatment was routine, he could have made the screenplay interesting, he failed to get best out his cast and crew, he manages to entertain audience though with some good comedy.
The first half is good, second half is okay, no interesting scenes in the second half, the story becomes predictable at one point, peace is the problem in the 2half. Scenes were good, but lacks feel.
This film also proves that director has some talent in him, he needs to get screenplay perfect.
Editing should have been crispier especially in the second half.
